Sheldon School Board Meets Thursday

A fairly routine agenda will face the Sheldon Community School Board at their regular monthly meeting. Among the items on their agenda will be an update on the East Elementary Building Project, as well as preliminary enrollment information for the 2012-2013 school year. They’ll consider adopting the 2012-2013 Annual Academic and Climate Goals for Annual Progress Report to the Community, consider approval of the Transportation Regulation Requirement Agreement between Head Start and the Sheldon Community School District, and consider approval of the Field Experience, Practicum and Intern Agreement between the University of West Alabama and the Sheldon Community School District.

In addition, Larie De Groot is scheduled to give a brief overview of the new Middle School Synergystics Lab, and will walk the Board through each of the lab’s modules and give a short description of the activities involved with each one.

Thursday’s meeting of the Sheldon Community School Board will be held at 6 PM in the library of the Sheldon Middle School.
