Sheldon School Board To Hold Public Hearing On East Project

Date posted - July 9, 2013

Sheldon-Schools-logoSheldon, IA — The Sheldon Community Schools Board of Education will hold a public hearing on the East Elementary addition/remodel project during their regular monthly meeting Wednesday evening.

Individuals present at the hearing will have an opportunity to be heard for, or against, the project.

In addition, the Board will hear a report on the District’s property and casualty insurance coverage and premiums.  Superintendent Robin Spears is scheduled to update the Board on the Ball Field/Rec Area Project, as well as progress on moving toward paperless board meetings.

The Board will be dealing with a pair of resignations, and approving a trio of employment contracts, as well as considering the purchase of a new exchange server and wireless network upgrade for the high school.

The Board is scheduled to end their night in a closed session to conduct an employee evaluation of the District’s Superintendent.

Wednesday’s meeting will be called to order at 6:00 pm in the Sheldon High School Library.
