Sheldon School Board To Meet Today at 5

Sheldon-Schools-logoSheldon, Iowa — The Board of Education for the Sheldon Community School District will hold their regular monthly meeting this evening, March 13th, beginning at 5 pm in the high school library.

During this meeting the Board will be asked to approve five Open Enrollment Applications, a pair of employee resignations, and two employment contracts.  The Board will also discuss school breakfast and lunch price increases for the 2017/2018 school year.

In other business, the Board will consider a Student Teaching Agreement with Northwestern College.  They’ll also set the date and time for the District’s Fiscal Year 2018 Budget Hearing and certification.

The Board has also scheduled a closed session for the purpose of discussing strategy for contract negotiations with the teacher’s union.
