Sheldon School Board To Meet Monday

Orab LogoSheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Community Schools Board of Education will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday, May 13th, beginning at 5:00 pm in the Sheldon High School Library.

Among the items on the agenda will be a presentation from the Iowa Class 2-A Champion Orab basketball team on their experiences during their championship run, and the Sheldon High School Band and Choir will have a presentation on their Florida trip.

Each of the Board members will receive an “Award Of Achievement” from Superintendent Robin Spears as part of “School Board Appreciation Week”.

The Board will also take up a pair of Open Enrollment Applications, as well as discussing two resignations, and discussing a handful of new employment contracts, including one for a new Activities Director for the District.  They’re also set to approve salary adjustments for the District’s administrators, along with other items of business.

That meeting begins at 5:00 Monday afternoon in the Sheldon High School Library.
