Sheldon School District Audit Released by State Auditor

State Auditor David Vaudt has released the audit report on the Sheldon Community School district.

The report indicates that the District’s revenues in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011 totaled $12,191,827.  Thats an increase of 4.5 percent over the prior year.  Expenses for District operations for the same period totaled $11,655,637, an increase of 2.4 percent.

School Superintendent Robin Spears tells KIWA that the complete report will be reviewed by the School Board at their next regular meeting February 13th.
