UPDATE: Late Donation Puts Sheldon United Fund Over The Top

Sheldon, Iowa — When 2018 ended the Sheldon United Fund Campaign Committee had thought they had fallen just short of their $31-thousand goal. That changed Wednesday.

Cindy Runger is part of the Sheldon United Fund Committee, and she says that an anonymous donor put the 2018 United Fund Drive over the top with a contribution Wednesday afternoon.

With Wednesday’s donation, Runger says the 2018 United Fund Drive finished above their goal with a total of $31,029.

The United Fund will be assisting 21 different organizations in Sheldon and the surrounding communities this year. Runger says the United Fund Committee greatly appreciates the generosity of the Sheldon businesses and individuals who made the drive a success.
