Sheldon United Fund Finishes Just Under Goal

Date posted - January 21, 2012

The Sheldon United Fund for 2011 ended the fund drive just under the goal.

According to United Fund board members, the goal was $33,000, and the final total was $31,219. In order to meet the goal, the fund needed roughly $2000 per week from when the drive started in the fall until the end of the year.

The United Fund Drive board members asked us to express their thanks to the businesses and individuals of Sheldon and surrounding communities for their support and contributions.

The United Fund is going to assist 24 different organizations in Sheldon and the surrounding communities this year.
