Sheldon Woman Among Three Injured In Worthington Area Crash

sanford ambulanceWorthington, Minnesota — Three people, one of them from Sheldon, were taken to a hospital after an accident near Worthington on Wednesday evening.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that about 5:25 PM, 62-year-old Georgia Blum of South Sioux City, Nebraska was traveling north and attempted to make a left turn. Her 2007 Lincoln was rear-ended at that moment by a 1995 Ford Windstar, driven by 55-year-old Karen Snider of Sheldon.

Snider, Blum, and Snider’s passenger, 45-year-old Shirleen Earle of Spencer were taken to Sanford Worthington Hospital by Sanford Worthington Ambulance.

Both Blum’s Lincoln and┬áSnider’s Ford minivan┬áreceived moderate damage.
