Lyon County Sheriff Car Door 60-8George, Iowa — Possible injuries to a Sheldon woman and her passenger were reported in an accident south of George early on Friday.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 12:15 AM, 20-year-old Haley Heusinkveld of Sheldon, was driving a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix westbound on county blacktop A46, the county road going west out of Ashton. Both Heusinkveld and her passenger sustained possible injuries, but were not transported by ambulance.

The car sustained about $8000 in damages.
