Sheriff Asking For Public’s Help Solving Hawarden Attempted Burglary

Hawarden, Iowa — An attempted burglary has been reported near Hawarden, and the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to try to solve the case.Sioux Sheriff Car 84-

They say that they investigated the report on Thursday, August 14th. According to the report the attempted burglary took place at a home a mile east of Hawarden. The perpetrator or perpetrators appear to have attempted to break into the home by prying on a walk-in door.

Upon further investigation the Sheriff’s Office determined that the incident likely occurred sometime between August 6th and August 11th.
