Sheriffs’ Office Looking For Blue Car After Hull Area Accident
Date posted - August 21, 2013
Hull, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help. They’re trying to find out if anyone knows anything about a blue car that was southwest of Hull on Tuesday morning (8/20/13).
The Sheriff’s Office reports that about 8 AM, 16-year-old Chase Walker of Boyden was driving a 2004 Chrysler Sebring westbound on 330th Street, two miles southwest of Hull. He reports that a blue four-door car was traveling southbound on Harrison Avenue. Walker swerved to avoid striking the blue vehicle and his vehicle entered the west ditch. The blue vehicle reportedly did not stop and continued traveling southbound from the intersection.
Walker reported minor injuries but declined medical attention.
The Chrysler sustained about $2,000 in damages.
If you know the owner of the blue vehicle or know who was driving it at the time of the accident you are asked to contact the sheriff’s office. You may use the Text‐a‐Tip program if you wish to remain anonymous.
