Sibley, Iowa — The Sibley City Council will meet in special session Monday (April 18th) at 5:00 pm in Council Chambers at City Hall in Sibley.
The meeting is scheduled to go into closed session, pursuant to Iowa Code 21.5c. Chapter 21.5c allows closed session to allow the Council, quoting the Iowa Code, “To discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation.”
