Sibley Man Arrested On Several Charges After Traffic Stop

Sibley, Iowa — A Sibley man was arrested, charged on several counts on Wednesday.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that one of their deputies arrested 21-year-old Colton Lee Richards of Sibley Wednesday for allegedly Operating While Intoxicated, Interference with Official Acts, Reckless Driving, Careless Driving, and No Proof of Insurance.

The charges stem from a traffic stop for a moving violation in which Richards was ticketed for Speeding and Failure to have a Valid License to Operate a Motorcycle. Richards was booked into the Osceola County Jail on a $2,200 cash bond.
