Sibley/Ocheyedan High School Students Hope Third Time Is Charm For Storm Cleanup
Date posted - April 26, 2013
Sibley, Iowa — In Sibley and Ocheyedan, they’re hoping the third time will be the charm. Sibley/Ocheyedan students and those helping them have been trying to clean up ice storm debris, but it continues to be pushed back due to weather. Sibley/Ocheyedan Superintendent Tom Becker says the idea came from within the school.
He says the students and the school just wanted to give back to the community. The cleanup is now scheduled to start in the morning of Wednesday, May 1.
You are asked to contact the Sibley/Ocheyedan High School at 754-3601 if you are interested in volunteering, and they’ll put you on a work list. You can also call the school if you need help cleaning up.
