Sibley/Ocheyedan Tree And Branch Cleanup Day Canceled
Date posted - May 1, 2013
Sibley, Iowa — Sibley/Ocheyedan High School has had to cancel their “clean-up” day. Students and others were going to help clear the towns of Sibley and Ocheyedan of ice storm-damaged trees and branches. They have had to postpone the cleanup a couple of times, and are now just canceling it.
High School Principal Steven Bruder says that it just seems like every time they try to plan the day they get a deluge of precipitation.
He also says they have several folks from both Sibley and Ocheyedan who need their yards cleaned and he says they will do those specific yards with some of their students when the precipitation subsides.
