Sioux Center Hospital Construction On Pace To Open Late March Or Early April, 2014

New SC Hospital Artist's RenditionSioux Center, Iowa — The community of Sioux Center will soon have a new hospital.

The deal was finalized at the end of December 2009. The property includes 40 acres of land located just east of the water treatment plant on the southwest corner of B40 and 13th Avenue on Sioux Center’s east side. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on July 26, 2012, and construction has continued since then.

Kayleen Lee, Chief Executive Officer of the Sioux Center Community Hospital & Health Center Avera gives us an update on construction progress.

The 123,500 square foot hospital and medical clinic will have a new name too. ┬áIt will be called “Sioux Center Health, An Avera Partner, and should be open by late March or early April.
