Sioux Center Man Arrested On Assault Charge After Assault In Moving Vehicle

Sioux Sheriff Car 84-Sioux Center, Iowa — A Sioux Center man was arrested on an assault charge on Tuesday morning after an assault that allegedly happened on Saturday morning.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says that according to their investigation, 31-year-old Steven Partridge of Sioux Center was allegedly a passenger in a vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 75 on Saturday morning, December 7th. While traveling near the Million Dollar Corner (Highways 10 and 75), Partridge allegedly became involved in a dispute and assaulted another passenger of the vehicle. Following the assault, the vehicle and occupants drove to a Sioux Center home.

The victim was transported by private vehicle later that same morning to the Sioux Center Hospital where the person was treated for injuries caused by the assault. The victim was released a short time later.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated the assault that morning.

As a result of the investigation, Partridge was arrested for assault on Tuesday, December 10.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Sioux Center Police Department.
