Sioux Center Man’s Car Damaged In Hit-And-Run Accident In Doon; Authorities Seek Information

Lyon County Sheriff Car Door 60-8Doon, Iowa — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is looking for anyone who might have information about a hit-and-run accident in Doon.

They report that on Tuesday evening (10/8/13), about 8:30, they were advised of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Hubbard Avenue in Doon.

Twenty-two-year-old Blake Kruger of Sioux Center parked his gray 2007 Chevrolet Impala near 102 Hubbard Avenue, across from the Sparkle Car Wash. When Kruger returned to his vehicle he discovered it had sustained about $1,500 in damage. A white early 2000’s Chevrolet Silverado pickup may be involved, according to information from the sheriff’s Office.
