Sioux City Man Arrested On Drug Charges In Maurice Monday

law lightbar blueMaurice, Iowa — A Sioux City man was arrested on drug charges in Maurice on Monday.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that their deputies arrested 19-year-old Enrique Montanez of Sioux City as the result of a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 75 and 470th Street in Maurice.

Upon further investigation, the deputy determined that Montanez was in possession of illegal drugs and that his driver’s license was suspended.

Montanez was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended driver’s license.

The Sheriff’s Office K‐9 unit assisted with the investigation.
