Sioux County Officers Investigate Overnight Burglaries

Orange City, Iowa — Sioux County law enforcement officers are asking for the public’s help after three burglaries were reported on Wednesday morning.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that they investigated three burglaries and the Orange City/Alton Police Department investigated one burglary that all occurred during the overnight hours from June 26 into June 27. During the investigations it was found that the perpetrator(s) forcibly opened doors at VR Repair in Hull, Sioux Feed Company and Hog slat, Incorporated, one mile south of Sioux Center, and Performance Feeds in Alton.

In each burglary, cash was taken. If anyone has information on these crimes they are asked to contact the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office at (712) 737‐3307 or by using the Sioux County Sheriff Text‐a‐tip program.
