of course he thinks the sheriff’s dept is running well. any of his employees that dare say differently is suspended or fired. altena is very good about putting out news releases and photo ops so the average citizen who doesn’t know any better thinks he is doing a good job. in reality the sioux county sheriff’s department is in shambles.

If Sheriff Altena thinks his office is doing well, ask him how many employees have resigned since April in a 2 month period with another being terminated, and all because of the administration there. The answer is 4 with all of them being dispatchers. That is 50 % of the communications staff. Now would you call the office being run well??

The best part of a write-in campaign is that you need people to spell the written-in name correctly.
Out of the 20 people that will write-in a vote for Jim Schwiesow, only 3 of them will be able to spell his name correctly. As the kids say these days, “epic fail.”
