Sioux County Sheriff Arrests Two For Domestic Assault In Two Separate Weekend Incidents

On Sunday, September 2, in the 7 PM hour, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a domestic disturbance that occurred on 480th Street, five miles southeast of Ireton.
Upon further investigation, deputies discovered 37-year-old Aaron Manley of Ireton had assaulted a family member.
Manley was arrested for domestic assault, a serious misdemeanor and two counts of child endangerment, both aggravated misdemeanors.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol.
On Saturday, September 1 at 12:45 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a disturbance taking place in a room at the Sheldon Motel in Sheldon.
Upon further investigation, deputies discovered that 29-year-old Jennifer Wake of Kansas City, MO had assaulted her boyfriend.
Wake was arrested for domestic assault, a serious misdemeanor.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol.
