Sioux County Sheriff Investigating Hospers Vandalism, Thefts

Just into Monday, about 12:10 AM, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of vandalism that occurred in the area of Fourth Avenue South in Hospers.
Later that morning, several additional reports of vandalism and thefts were investigated that involved damage done to wishing wells, lawn ornaments, a stolen bicycle, a street sign that was bent over, and a Harley Davidson flag that was stolen; another resident reported that someone ran over their car, leaving footprints that damaged the hood and top of the car.
All of these crimes took place on April 15 between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity or has information about these crimes is asked to contact the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office. If you wish to remain anonymous you may use the Text-A-Tip program.
