Sioux County Sheriff’s Office Investigating "Suspicious" Fire

arson matchHull, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help to try to find out about a fire that they’re calling “suspicious”.

On Saturday, August 31, at 12:58 a.m.,the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a fire that occurred at G & K Builders, 420 Main Street in Hull.

Upon arrival at the business, deputies and responding fire department personnel found the office area engulfed by fire.

Upon further investigation, the fire was determined to be suspicious. The Sheriff’s Office has evidence that someone riding their bike in the area may be involved in breaking into the business and starting the fire. The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Hull Fire Department, Hull Ambulance, Sioux Center Fire Department and the Iowa State Fire Marshal.
