Sioux County Sheriff’s Office Looking For Public’s Help To Solve Theft Of Sprinkler Heads Near Rock Valley

Rock Valley, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rather unusual theft. They report that someone has stolen several sprinkler heads from an area near Rock Valley.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Saturday, (10/15) their deputies investigated the thefts that occurred at 1614 and 1660 310th street, eight miles west of Rock Valley.
Sometime between October 7 and October 15, someone stole 60 sprinkler heads that were being used for dust control on the road. There were 30 Hunter PGP, and 30 Rainbird 5000 Plus sprinkler heads. The sprinkler heads are valued at $20 each, for a total of $1200-worth of sprinkler heads.
