Sioux County Sheriff’s Office Looking For Vandals Who Chucked Pumpkins At Mailboxes

Sioux Center, Iowa – The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of mailbox vandalism, stretching from Sioux Center to Chatsworth.

They say that they received several reports of vandalized mailboxes between Tuesday, November 6, at 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM on Wednesday, November 7.

The damage was a result of a person or persons throwing pumpkins at the mailboxes from a moving vehicle. The incidents occurred in the western half of Sioux County from Sioux Center on 380th Street to Chatsworth on
500th Street.

    Wonder if this incident involves the same person/s that did the window breaking in the inhabited house west of Sx Center? I never have understood the satisfaction of destroying property.
