Sioux County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Information On Hit-And-Run Accident

Sioux Sheriff Car 84-Orange City, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is looking for more information on a hit-and-run accident that happened Saturday night near Orange City.

They report that they investigated the accident on Sunday afternoon, June 30th. The accident happened at 3561 440th Street, a mile west of Orange City.

A vehicle was eastbound on 440th Street sometime during the overnight hours ofJune 29 into June 30th, when it struck a residential mailbox. The driver did not stop and notify the owner ofthe damage. The mailbox sustained about $100 in damages. They say the vehicle likely has damage to the passenger side and possibly the windshield.
