Sioux Falls Man Behind Bars In Rock Rapids On Charges Of Sexual Abuse Of A Minor

Jail Door2Rock Rapids, Iowa — A Sioux Falls man is behind bars in Rock Rapids after an investigation determined he committed sex acts with a minor.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that 22-year-old Kevin Craig Jager of Sioux Falls, SD, formerly of Rock Rapids was booked into the county jail on Thursday, August 22.

He is charged with five counts of Sexual Abuse in the Third Degree, all Class C felonies.

The charges are a result of an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office into incidents that occurred in July, when Jager lived in Rock Rapids. Jager is accused of committing several sex acts with a fifteen year-old victim.

He is being held in the Lyon County Jail on a fifty-thousand dollar cash-only bond.
