Sioux Falls Man Taken To Hospital After Accident West Of Larchwood

Ambulance rear blue and whiteLarchwood, Iowa — A Sioux Falls man was transported to a Sioux Falls hospital after an accident on the curves west of Larchwood early on Sunday.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s office reports that about 3:40 AM, 35-year-old Aaron Jones of Sioux Falls was driving a 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada westbound on Highway 9, about two miles west of Larchwood, when he lost control of the vehicle, which entered the north ditch and rolled.

Jones was transported to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls by the Larchwood Emergency Medical Service.

The Oldsmobile sustained an estimated $7000 in damages.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Larchwood Fire Department, Larchwood EMS, and Lyon County Ambulance personnel.
