The Relays for Life for the other two counties in our coverage area have been scheduled in August. The Osceola County event is Friday, August 5th, and the Lyon County event is Wednesday, August 10th.

Sue Doppenberg is the chairperson for the Sioux County Relay For Life this year. She tells us all about it.

She says they no longer go through the night.

Doppenberg says they honor survivors throughout the festivities.

She says one of the teams will also be selling food for a freewill donation.

Again, the Sioux County Relay For Life is June 10th at the Sioux Center High School Track. The O’Brien County Relay for Life is June 14th at the Lifelong Learning and Recreation Center at NCC. Both the Osceola and Lyon county Relays For Life will be in August.
