Spencer Man Wins $50,000 Playing Iowa Lottery Scratch Ticket He Bought In Peterson

The Lottery reports that 21-year-old Matt Soat was installing garage doors for his employer, Advanced Door Systems, when he and his coworkers decided to break for lunch at Cargo Express in Peterson. When he scratched his ticket, he initially thought he had only won $100.
Soat says he is planning to use some of his winnings to look into buying a house for his growing family.
