Spencer Native Who Was On “The Voice” To Headline Village Northwest Unlimited July 3rd Celebration
Date posted - July 2, 2013
We caught up with Muessigmann (which although it sound like “Music Man” is actually spelled M-u-e-s-s-i-g-m-a-n-n). We asked him how this all got started.
Muessigmann is originally from Spencer. Following a wrestling career-ending knee injury, Muessigmann made the decision to focus on his music.
He impressed the judges on the hit TV show “The Voice” last fall by singing “Sweet Home Alabama” and joining Blake Shelton’s team . He recently released his latest single entitled “Maybe.”
We asked him to describe his musical style.
Muessigmann will take the stage at about 6:45 Wednesday evening, following the Bill Riley Talent Search, which begins at 5. He says he can’t wait to perform in Sheldon.
Of course there are several other reasons to go to the celebration including lots of kids activities, lots of food and an incredible fireworks show. That’s all this Wednesday evening, July 3rd at Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon.
