Date posted - February 5, 2013
Sioux Center, Iowa — Iowa State University Extension and Dordt College are teaming up to present “STEM-Fest”, a fun science technology, engineering and math learning experience for area 4th through 8th graders, which will be held Saturday February 16th at Dordt College in Sioux Center.
Wade Weber of ISU Extension says that the event will be a fun, educational day.
Weber says STEM-Fest will be an interactive learning experience that will cover a variety of interesting topics.
He says each of the events will be on a first-come, first-served basis, due to group size limitations.
STEM-Fest will take place from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, February 16th. And while there is no charge to attend, there will be a $10 charge for lunch. Organizers ask that you register by Monday, February 11th.
