Storm Lake Man Injured In Accident Near Primghar

The Iowa State Patrol reports that about 5:00 AM, 33-year-old Agello Cham was northbound on Tanager Avenue, two miles west of Sutherland in a 1999 Lincoln Navigator.
The trooper reports that Cham failed to stop at the stop sign. The vehicle continued to travel onto the gravel road (Tanager Avenue), proceeding into the west ditch striking the stop ahead sign, several wooden fence posts, and a farm drive causing the vehicle to become airborne. It rolled several times. The vehicle came to rest on its top on a woven wire fence.
Cham was injured, and was taken to Cherokee Regional Medical Center by Sutherland Ambulance.
His Lincoln Navigator received $10,000 damage, totaling the vehicle.
Cham was charged with failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way and failure to maintain control, as well as third offense Operating while intoxicated.
