Northwest Iowa — The sunny, unusually warm spring-like weather of the past several days caused many northwest Iowa residents to think that maybe, just maybe, spring had sprung early this year. Well, now it’s time to get back to the reality of a northwest Iowa February, since the National Weather Service is tracking a powerful winter storm that appears to be headed for our area.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Brad Temeyer says you should enjoy the warm weather while it lasts.
We asked Temeyer about the timetable for this storm.
He says it’s really too early to predict how much snow this system will leave behind.
