Suspect Arrested in July Boyden Break-In

Boyden, Iowa — A 24-year-old Boyden man was arrested for theft, criminal mischief and trespassing after allegedly breaking in to a Boyden residence in July.

The Sioux County Sheriff was called to a Boyden residence July 24 after the occupants reported someone stealing their landscape lights, entering their pool and entering their home while they slept. After an investigation in to the incident, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Marcus Barron of Boyden on the charges of theft, criminal mischief and trespassing – all simple misdemeanors.

Barron was taken in to custody without incident Tuesday night.
