Sutherland Man In Jail In Rock Rapids After Being Picked Up On Warrant For Failure To Appear On Several Charges, Including A Felony

Jail Door2Rock Rapids, Iowa — A Sutherland man is in jail in Rock Rapids after he was picked up on a warrant for failure to appear on several charges, including a felony.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that 37-year-old Aaron John Herrmann of Sutherland was arrested last week on a Lyon County arrest warrant for Failure to Appear on original charges of Sex Offender Registry Violation, an aggravated misdemeanor; Threat of Terrorism, a class D Felony; Domestic Abuse Assault, a simple misdemeanor; Violation of a No Contact Order, a simple misdemeanor; and Theft in the Fifth Degree, a simple misdemeanor.

Herrmann was arrested by the Paulina Police Department and transported to the O’Brien County Jail. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Department then took custody of Herrmann and transported him from the O’Brien County Jail to the Lyon County Jail where he is currently being held on a $2,000 bond.
