Hartley, Iowa — A Hartley teen was taken to the hospital after an accident near Hartley.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 4:15 PM on Saturday, February 6, 2016, 19-year-old Madison Albrant of Hartley was driving a 2002 Chevy eastbound on Highway 18 near Hartley.
The report says that Albrant lost control on the slushy road. It says her car entered the south ditch and rolled onto its top.
The Hartley Ambulance crew took Albrant to Spencer Municipal Hospital.
Albrant’s Chevy sustained $2300 in damages, which was enough to total the vehicle. The vehicle also took out a county road sign, valued at $150.
