Cool weather will continue into early next week, with daytime highs in the upper 30s and 40s more reminiscent of early to mid November. The exception will be a brief warm-up on Saturday, though even this will be several degrees below normal for this time of year. Most areas will see a stretch of dry weather into early next week. However, a quick moving system will bring a chance for light snow or rain to areas near the Missouri River Valley tonight into Friday. Precipitation amounts will be on the light side, with any snow accumulation remaining around a half inch or less.
