Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue early this morning, with additional spotty showers and storms developing with the heating of the day. Any showers and storms will quiet heading into the evening, with a few very pleasant days expected midweek with temperatures closing on normal readings for the start of August, outside a chance for a few storms Wednesday afternoon and evening. Humidity will begin to creep upward again by Friday, and there looks to be a periodic chance for thunderstorms starting late Friday and continuing through the weekend. The start of August will certainly see a return of summer heat.
