Tools Stolen In Sanborn Burglary; Sheriff’s Office Asks For Public’s Help

O'Brien Sheriff 71-6Sanborn, Iowa — Numerous tools were stolen in what appears to have been a burglary in rural Sanborn last week, and the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office is looking for more information.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary to a maintenance shop at a hog confinement site located one and one half miles northwest of Sanborn on Redwing Avenue. The burglary is believed to have occurred between 4:30 PM on June 11, 2013 and 2:30 AM on June 12, 2013. The suspects entered the locked shop and removed numerous DeWalt brand cordless tools, and Milwaukee and Snap On brand air tools.

The Crime Dusters program is offering a $350 reward to anyone who provides information on this crime that leads to the arrest and conviction of the offenders.
