Estherville, Iowa — (RI) — The treasurer of a northwest Iowa booster club has been charged with felony theft for allegedly stealing funds from that booster club.
The Estherville Police Department has completed an eight-month-long investigation into allegations an Estherville man misappropriated more than 29-thousand dollars from the Estherville-Lincoln Central Booster Club between August, 2015 and his removal in November, 2018. Police say fifty-four-year-old Timothy Loock of Estherville has been charged with first degree theft, a class “C” felony. At last report Loock was being held in the Emmet County Jail pending a court appearance.
