Orange City Woman’s Burglary Trial To Begin Tuesday

Orange City, Iowa — The trial is set to start this Tuesday, (November 14th, 2017 in the case of an Orange City woman accused of felony burglary and theft.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says the charges against 23-year old Stacy Carr stem from the investigation into a residential burglary in Hull. Deputies say Carr is accused of entering a residence on Maple Street in Hull without permission and stealing a cell phone.

According to authorities, Carr faces charges of 3rd Degree Burglary, a Class D Felony, and 5th Degree Theft, a Simple Misdemeanor, in connection with the incident.

Carr filed a plea of not guilty. According to court records, barring any changes, the case is ready to go to trial.
