Two Granville Men Charged After Alton Burglary Report

Hand Cuffs sxcAlton, Iowa — Two Granville men are charged after the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a burglary report near Alton.

The Sheriff’s Office reports that they investigated a burglary report at about 11:30 PM on Saturday, (3/23). The burglary was reported to have occurred at a home two miles southeast of Alton.

As a result of the investigation, on Monday evening (3/25), deputies arrested 38-year-old Charles Aulenbach of Granville on charges of trespassing, criminal mischief, and theft.

Deputies also cited 53-year-old Timothy Schmidt of Granville on charges of trespassing and theft.
