Two Northwest Iowans Caught Trying To Burglarize Rock Valley Business

crime scene tape over lightbarRock Valley, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says two northwest Iowa men were caught red-handed trying to burglarize a rural Rock Valley business on Saturday.

Deputies report that three minutes before midnight on Saturday night, 20-year-old Joshua Humphrey of Granville and 21-year-old Johnathan Oldenkamp of Primghar were caught in the act of committing a burglary at Post Equipment Corporation at 2553 320th Street, a mile south of Rock Valley.

Humphrey and Oldenkamp were both arrested on charges of third degree burglary and second degree theft.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Rock Valley Police Department.
