Two Orange City Men Arrested On Drug Charges After Document Service

Orange City, Iowa — Two Orange City men were arrested on Friday on drug charges, after a Sheriff’s Deputy came to serve papers on an unrelated case.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 7:15 that night, one of their deputies was performing service of court documents at an apartment on Delaware Avenue Southwest in Orange City.

While at the apartment attempting to serve the documents, the deputy became aware of possible illegal drug use. Upon further investigation, 32-year-old Daryl Dailey, Jr. of Orange City was arrested for 3rd Offense possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment, aggravated misdemeanors; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Twenty-five-year-old William Donovan, age 25, of Orange City was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor and child endangerment.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Orange City Police Department and the Iowa Department of Human Services.
