Inwood, Iowa — Two women — one from Canton, South Dakota, the other from Sioux Falls — were both injured in a one-vehicle rollover accident near Inwood in the wee hours of Thursday morning (9/13).
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 3:50 AM, 22-year-old Rhiannon T Reiners of Sioux Falls was driving northbound on Cherry Avenue, just north of the intersection of Cherry Avenue and 220th Street. At the intersection, the pavement ends and the road turns to gravel. When the vehicle hit the gravel, Reiners lost control of the vehicle. It entered the east ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its top.
Reiners was transported to Sanford Canton-Inwood Hospital and treated for her injuries. Her passenger, 22-year-old Desirae Minor of Canton was transported to Sanford Medical Center, Sioux Falls. Reiners’ 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix received about $7,000 in damages.
