Hull, Iowa — Western Christian High School in Hull is wrapping up construction on a $7.1 million construction project, and an open house and dedication ceremony is scheduled for this Thursday, October 13.
We talked to Superintendent Dan Barkel about the project. He tells us what they’ve done.
He says their Development Director, Wes Fopma has been instrumental in raising funds for the project.
He says they want to express their gratitude.
The ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m., and Barkel says it is to celebrate and praise God for the completion and to dedicate the renovation and remodeling project. He says they expect to have Western Christian alumni attend from every decade since the school was founded in the 1930’s.
After the program there will be tours available of the project. At 7:30 p.m. this Thursday evening, the Western Christian Music Department will host the Fall Music Festival. Choral, band, and orchestra groups will participate.
