Des Moines, Iowa — The Iowa State Representative representing Sioux County has filed for reelection in 2018.
Fourth District Republican Representative Skyler Wheeler of Orange City serves most of Sioux County except some townships in the northern and eastern portions of the county, which are served by Third District Representative Dan Huseman, of Aurelia.
Wheeler tells us about his decision to run again.
Wheeler says he’s excited about the opportunity to serve again in the House with “a couple years under [his] belt.” He says as a group, the House GOP has “gotten a lot done.” But he says there’s more to do.
Wheeler filed his nomination petitions to the Secretary of State’s office last week.
