Date posted - February 8, 2013

Extension Young FarmerSioux Center, Iowa — If you’re a farmer between the ages of 18 and 35, you’re invited to join a group of young farmers for networking, support, and fun at an activity on Monday.

Iowa Farm Bureau and Iowa State University (ISU) Extension and Outreach are hosting the event. It’s Monday (February 11) at 12 PM in the lower level of Farmers Coop Society in Sioux Center. Agriculture Producer & Consumer Education Specialist Kaye Strohbehn with ISU Extension tells us more.

She says you can register at extension.iastate.edu/plymouth.

When you get to the extension page, click the link “Northwest Iowa Young Farmer Group”. She says you can also just call the Plymouth County Extension Office at 712-546-7835.

The Northwest Iowa Young Farmer Program is sponsored by Iowa Farm Bureau and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
