Wendell Helmers was my uncle. I just wanted to say that he was one of the best uncles you could have. We always looked forward to him stopping in on our farm when we were kids. Both he and my aunt Ruthie could not have been better to be around. He will be sorely missed by his entire family. Wendell was a true family man and he really looked out for our entire family. You can tell a lot about a person when you see how they treat their own mother and father. What a great family and they have always had their door open for anyone to stop in at their farm. This is a family filled with love for their neighbors and for their family. May he rest in peace. We know that his family will gather together and help one another through this with the grace of God.
Good Bye Wendell,
Beth and family
